History
RPC started life as a house fellowship in Richmond Park Avenue, Bournemouth (hence the name) in 1981. Dave Holland; whose house the church began in over 30 years ago, is still part of the leadership team today. From the early days the church was called to be a "church in the community," reaching people with the gospel in Boscombe, Bournemouth and further afield, bringing the kingdom of God into the area through lives submitted to the Lordship of Christ.
As the Lord graciously blessed us and added to our number we moved to a hall in Charminster Road URC (since demolished) and then on to Nortoft Road Day Centre in 1984. In 1985 the Lord provided us with the finances to purchase the Old Salvation Army building in Boscombe. We then began the mammoth task of renovating. The church has had a number of improvements done over the years with a major internal renovation to the main hall in recent times. Take a look at the slide show below.
