Who's who at RPC
Leadership Team
Our leadership team is made up of our Pastor, Martin and Elders; David, Len and Keith.
Martin joined Richmond Park Church in September 2010 after being a pastor in Bristol for 10 years. Martin is originally from the Black Country in the West Midlands where he became a Christian in 1989. He studied at Capernwray Bible School, followed by a 3-year graduate course, here locally, at Moorlands Bible College. He is married to Joy and they have two children: Daniel & Rachel. He has a passionate desire to see believers know and enjoy God more, wanting their relationship with Him to deepen; their love and passion for Him to increase. He also longs for the lost to know Christ and see Him in all his greatness and glory. He enjoys playing (or trying to play) the occasional round of golf and going out for walks with his family and their little dog Tess.
Dave has been on the road with Christ since 1967 having become a Christian through the ministry of Lansdowne Baptist Church in Bournemouth. Since then, he has been involved in a number of roles: Youth Ministry leadership, Deacon, Pastor and latterly Elder. Richmond Park Church was founded in his home in 1981 and eventually after several stages moved to the present location in Boscombe. Dave's passion is to see people becoming Christians and then going on to follow Christ in a daily life which glorifies God. He is very ably supported by his wife Hae Sook who is from South Korea and has four daughters and three granddaughters. Dave enjoys most sports, gardening and relaxing yet his great desire is to "finish the race well" and to see other Christians do the same.
Keith has been part of RPC since 2011, having been part of team ministry in another Church previously. He is a family man and has been married to Sadie for over 40 years! They have three boys who are all grown up with their own families: totalling 11 Grandchildren, and 1 Great Grandson! He is involved in many of aspects of church life including working with the Teen Challenge outreach team, helping those with addiction and a member of the Worship Team. He has been a Christian since 1987 and loves to serve Christ because of all that He has done for him. He joined the eldership team in the early part of 2021 and longs to serve the Lord even more!
