RPC's Vision

Love is a theme that runs through the Bible and is at the heart of Christianity. Jesus was once asked what the most important command of all is, 'He answered, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbour as yourself.'"Luke 10:27  This verse provides the foundation and passion for RPC'S vision.

Loving Jesus

As we reflect upon God's love for us and the ultimate expression of His love upon the cross, there is no greater reason or motivation for us to love him back. Loving God is the basis and spring from which our love flows out to our neighbours; whether that is other Christians or those that are lost.

Loving Each Other

Jesus calls us to love one another in many places. Perhaps one of the most challenging is where he says 'A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.' John 13:34. We are called to love one another in the same genuine sacrificial way that he loves us. Loving one another also creates a foundation and a support for us to reach out to the lost.

Loving the Lost

Loving the lost; those that are not yet Christians, is very much the heart beat of God and his mission for the church. It is why Jesus came and died that all may know him. His final command to the disciples was to take his message of love and salvation to the world. At RPC one of our priorities and greatest joys is to faithfully take that message.
